Hey everybody!
I know it’s been a while since I wrote to y’all on here, but I’ve decided to get back into it. I want there to be one place where folks can keep up with my work that’s independent from Big Tech platforms and their shady-ass algorithms.
First off, I have a big announcement.
I’m honored for the opportunity and can’t wait to share my project with you when it’s completed! To learn more about the fellowship and the other fellows, click here.
In other news, I took Reggie to the vet this week, and he’s lost a bit of weight. We’re going to adjust his anxiety medication and try mixing in some wet food into his dry food to get him eating enough again. He is otherwise healthy though and doing great!
He loves our new house in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the big yard he can explore with no dogs harassing him. Unfortunately he kept us up all night last night whining during a thunderstorm…
Anyway, check out my work from this past week!

Our Latest Podcasting:
BASEDBrief: FreedomFest, Andrew Yang, Expanding NATO & Anti-Gay Pastor's Hypocrisy Exposed
Hannah & I break down the highlights from FreedomFest, the libertarian political conference that was held in Vegas over the weekend, and discuss the Southern Poverty Law Center's attempt to smear former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang for attending the conference and daring to reach out to a right-wing audience.
Next, we break down the House's overwhelming vote to add Sweden and Finland to NATO, the US's strategic defense alliance with many European countries. Are the 18 Republicans who voted against this expansion on to something?
Finally, we revel in the hysterical reporting suggesting that extremely homophobic pastor and right-wing radio host Jesse Lee Peterson allegedly had sexual relationships with multiple men. And we close out the show by reading perhaps the most bizarre and funniest hate email we’ve ever seen.

PLUS… I did a bonus interview with Congresswoman Kat Cammack on why she recently broke ranks to vote IN FAVOR of gay marriage.

Congrats on the TFAS fellowship, Brad!
Congrats Brad! Your analysis on debt is really good, so this is very well deserved.
