Breonna Taylor, doggo update, SCOTUS, sliced cheese, & an exciting podcast guest
You guys are going to love this week's episode of the new podcast.
Hey everyone,
I hope you’re all having a great week. I’m sorry this note is coming to you a bit later than usual, but I’ve been quite busy the last few days. I just signed the dotted line today on my first car purchase as an adult! I’m very excited and got a great deal. I’ll be sure to include pictures in next week’s newsletter.
This week, the boyfriend finally has a slower week. He’s just had some classes as he is between medical school rotations. So, we’re getting to spend lots of time together (he helped big-time with the car purchasing stuff) before he starts a new rotation next week that’s very intense.
Oh, and Reggie the doggo is doing swimmingly. He’s getting better and better from the heart-worm treatment and is finally off all his medication. Soon he will be able to exercise and get back to full activity levels.
One problem: Reggie is adorable, but he has really bad breath! Yet he goes nuts if I go anywhere near him with a toothbrush. Any tips on what we can do?
Meme: This gonna be me when I pay that fat tax bill I have coming my way :(
Food Take: The best cheese comes in single-sliced packaging and has no expiration date.
Podcast: The one and only Blaire White is my guest for this week’s episode. She is an internet-famous YouTuber and political commentator known for her contrarian views as a transgender conservative. We discuss what it’s like growing up with Gender Dysphoria, how the left-wing LGBTQ “community” treats dissident voices, President Trump’s transgender military ban, and more.

Articles:
Joe Biden’s tax plan has a much broader reach than advertised. Read my National Review Op-Ed arguing that the presidential candidate’s proposed corporate tax hikes would really fall on everyday Americans.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is a radical socialist with awful policy views and political stances. But in a new Op-Ed for the Independent, I argue that conservatives critics should focus on that — not make xenophobic, unfair attacks on her immigrant identity as President Trump just did this week.
White people needn’t apply for Joe Biden’s Supreme Court shortlist. I argue in the Washington Examiner that while surely many minority women are qualified for the job, the Democratic presidential nominee’s openly identity-based selection promises are tokenistic and toxic.
The violent unrest after the Breonna Taylor decision sabotages progress. I write for FEE.org that she should still be with us today, but violence & looting only further undermine the criminal justice reform movement in the eyes of the public.
Bonus Brad: The boyfriend and I went to a vineyard last weekend for a wine-tasting. I’m so very lucky <3
