Dem debate, boyfriend update, the best kind of chips, refugees, Iran, Lizzo and more
Hey everyone!
I hope you're having a good week.
In particular, I hope that you, unlike me, did NOT watch last night's Democratic presidential debate. My thoughts are pretty simple. Elizabeth Warren's further perpetuation of this sham 'sexism' thing against Bernie is just more dishonesty from her. But I think it hurts them both, and only bolsters Biden, who managed to stay out of the fray and speak as little as possible (which helps him). All in all, it was a fairly boring debate, without the more interesting candidates such as Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard on the stage.
OK, in the much-anticipated boyfriend update, let me tell you about this past weekend. Back in November, for my birthday, the boyfriend booked us a weekend getaway to a bed-and-breakfast on the West Virginia border. We drove (okay, HE drove, my driving makes him nauseous) there on Saturday and had an amazing night at this 5-star place, a huge mansion with beautiful grounds. Then we spent the day sightseeing and hiking nearby! It was wonderful (like him).

First, read me quoted by the editorial board of the New York Post:
Then, check out the TV hit I did talking about what's next with Trump and the conflict w/ Iran:

My latest writing:
Why Greg Abbott is wrong to reject refugees from Texas
The Texas governor will break from 18 of his GOP peers, and reject refugee resettlement from his state. I argue this is the wrong call. Read more.
Iran's digital dystopia shows why we should never let government control the internet
The regime is using their control over the internet to shut down dissent. Plans from Bernie Sanders and others would take us dangerously toward that direction. Read more.
Elizabeth Warren's nauseating fake victim script
My good ole senator has a long history of playing the victim without basis, but her latest stunt is a doozy. Read more.
It's not 'body shaming' to refuse to glorify Lizzo's obesity
Lizzo is a talented singer and doesn't deserve any shame or judgment for her weight. But it's also wrong to attack Jillian Michaels just for refusing to glorify Lizzo's unhealthiness. Read more.
Bonus Brad: I received a very good question from one astute television viewer, which I shall present without comment.
