GoT, Cheesecake Factory, Income Inequality, COVID Fraud & The 'Squad'
Also, I went on an Amazon binge and spent a bunch of money unproductively.
Hey everyone,
Hope you’re all having a great week.
Politics is annoying right now, but the boyfriend and I went to the Cheesecake Factory over the weekend, and that’s all I really need in life to be happy. I am very much a basic white girl when it comes to loving the Cheesecake Factory and their bizarrely expansive menu and delicious deserts. He had never had the Cheesecake Factory experience before me — an atrocity I had to quickly remedy now that restaurants are reopening near us.
Oh, and we finally finished Game of Thrones. He was bummed out at the ending just as you would expect. Meanwhile… guess what day it is today?
Bonus: I was invited to participate in an interesting project I want to share. A new website, Letter, hopes to foster reasoned, respectful debate between public figures on opposite sides of the spectrum through a regular open-letter series. I agreed to correspond with progressive analyst and writer Zaid Jilani on the topic of “Should The Government Intervene To Promote Economic Equality?”
Read his first letter to me and my response here.
Meme:
Food Take: Cranberry juice is the GOAT. Absolutely the best juice without any competition.
Media Corner: I had the pleasure of joining prominent libertarian podcaster and BlazeTV host Matt Kibbe on his long-form show for an interview talking about everything from the future of conservatism to #BlackLivesMatter. The full YouTube episode is available below (live at 3pm ET) but you can also click here to listen on Apple Podcasts.
