PICS: Boyfriend gives me a haircut, job news, watermelon, Rand Paul & Dave Rubin
What an esoteric week.
Hey everyone,
I hope you’re all having a good week. It’s getting warmer here in Arlington, VA and the local Starbucks are reopening (for carryout). It’s almost like nature is healing.
I do have some job news. It looks like my last day at the Washington Examiner will be May 29th as my one-year fellowship on the opinion/commentary desk concludes. I will continue to contribute to the Examiner on a part-time, freelance basis semi-regularly, but am moving on to pastures anew.
Every job has its ups and downs, but I am truly blessed to have been given so much opportunity and responsibility at my young age. I’ve been able to appear on cable news half a dozen times, interview U.S. senators and cabinet officials, and reach millions of readers. I will always be deeply grateful to the Examiner, the Charles Koch Institute, and the Intercollegiate Studies Institute for making this all possible.
As for what comes next, it’s TBD. It’s a very difficult time to be on the job market, as you might imagine — but I might have good news to share somewhat soon.
Anyway, that’s enough seriousness. Read through the end to see before/after pics from when I let my boyfriend give me a haircut this week!
Meme: Not exactly a meme, but it made me laugh so hard I snorted. (For reference, Nick Fuentes is an alt-right/white supremacist internet personality who we despise).
Food Take:
Media Corner: I joined Alex Salvi on One America News to discuss the latest Joe Biden #MeToo developments, and the Trump campaign’s hypocrisy problem.

Critics freak out over Sen. Rand Paul’s reasonable call to open schools. The nastiness totally misses the point.
( P.S. Rand followed me xD)
The Human Rights Campaign sells its soul to endorse Joe Biden. The left-wing LGBT activist organization just made possibly the most hypocritical endorsement of all time.
New poll shows voters overwhelmingly blame China for coronavirus and seek retaliation. Don’t let this well-warranted frustration push us toward foolish policy responses.
Interview: Dave Rubin on his fight for classical liberalism. Give my interview with the internet-famous YouTuber on his new book a read.
Bonus Brad: I let my boyfriend give me a lockdown haircut!! As you could see in the TV interview my hair had gotten a little bit, erm, out of control. How do you think he did?
