Rand Paul, HIV, Conversion Therapy, My Interview w/ DeVos, & My Old Yearbook Photo Re-surfaces
Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a great holiday! It was nice being home and having lots of pie. Me and the boyfriend, though, were apart for almost 10 days during the holiday break... which wasn't exactly fun, to be quite honest. But we reunited Monday night, and had a great time together!
I've been traveling a LOT lately, and am now actually in Tampa, Florida, for the mid-year summit for my journalism fellowship through the Koch Institute and Poynter Institute. Not super happy to be on the road again, to be quite honest, but the hotel and conference are really nice so far, and I am loving the career opportunities this fellowship has afforded me.
In my free time, I've almost wrapped up reading that behemoth book, Basic Economics, by Thomas Sowell. But I took a break over Thanksgiving to read some fiction, and decided to re-read the iconic gay novel Call Me By Your Name and then started the just-released sequel! I loved CMBYN, but have been super disappointed with the sequel so far. I honestly might not even finish it. Sad!
Oh, and thanks to all who read my writing and keep up with my content. I had another great traffic month in November, and knowing I reach so many readers really is what makes my life feel purposeful.
