Thanksgiving, pie rankings, pic of me & bae, tech censorship, government waste & more
Hey everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving. I'm home visiting my mother and sister in Rhode Island this week.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, certainly food-wise. I like mashed potatoes and turkey, yes, but for me, it's really just all a prelude to the desserts, mostly the pies. I love pie, especially strawberry-rhubarb pie, cherry pie, and pecan pie. One hot take I have: Apple pie is pretty mediocre and basic. Not really worth it.
In slightly sadder news, me and the boyfriend are currently enduring 10 days apart, due to Thanksgiving travel. 10 days!! We got used to hanging out a LOT in D.C., so it's an adjustment for sure, but it will be fine.
